HoloBuilder is based on 360° photo documentation. However, in some situations, 2D captures are a very useful enhancement.

HoloBuilder offers 2 types of 2D Photos to be added to your documentation:

Capture 2D Photos directly on a location on a floor plan, e.g., instead of capturing the 360 image or in addition to the 360 images on this location.

Possible use cases are, among others, having no 360° camera at hand (e.g. battery died or not allowed), privacy reasons why 360 images cannot be used (e.g. on a street), or also to better highlight a focus area if there is too much noise otherwise (e.g. a facade of a building).
Capture 2D Images inside a 360 image to link with an action object to a specific view in the 360 view.

Possible use cases are, among others, to add more details if something is not accessible through the 360 image or was captured by externals and you wish to link all information as overall documentation.

How to enable 2D Photo capturing for all or only individual projects
Decide whether for all or only specific projects you want to disable the option to capture 2D photos directly on the floor plan, e.g. if you want to make sure that for all locations 360 images are captured.

Note: 2D Photos that can be added inside a 360 image cannot be disabled as a feature and are available at all times.

How to place 2D Photos directly on your sheet in the JobWalk App
If enabled, capture 2D photos with your mobile device's camera to link to a location on a floor plan instead or in addition to your 360 images.
Upload 2D Photos from your device’s gallery to a floorplan on iOS
If enabled, instead of capturing new 2D Photos on site, you can also upload 2D photos you might have already captured on your mobile device to a location on your floor plan in the JobWalk app.
How to delete a 2D Photo in the JobWalk app
If a 2D Photo is not needed or was placed in the wrong location on the floor plan, delete the 2D photo accordingly in the app.
