Categories and filters are helpful tools to find the scenes you need a lot faster. When applying categories to your scenes, you can easily filter them and reduce the view to only the relevant progress images.
Please note that you have to create categories in the Web Editor first before you can filter the scenes. Alternatively, when creating a new project, you can also make use of the category templates in the company dashboard.
Automatically set categories for all scenes of your current capturing session
Set a combination of categories to be applied to all images you capture thereafter:
1. Open the project in the JobWalk app to start your progress capturing.
2. Select the sheet for the level you want to start capturing on.
(a) Capturing new images - left
Tap on a location on the screen to capture the image. If the image preview is not enabled, tap on the new waypoint to open the 360 image manually.
(b) Capturing TimeTravels - right
Tap on an existing waypoint on the screen to capture the TimeTravel image. If the image preview is not enabled, tap on the waypoint with the new checkmark on it to open the 360 image manually.
3. Tap on the categories icon on the right side of the screen to open the list of categories.
4. Scroll down the list to look for the right categories and tick one or more checkbox(es) to apply one or more category/categories to this image.
5. Scroll back up and tap on the dark background above the categories overview to close the category list and apply your selection of categories to this 360° image.
6. Return to the sheet view.
7. Continue capturing new images or TimeTravels: all 360 images captured now will include the same category configuration as the first image.
Note: You can change the applied categories configuration anytime for a captured image. After changing it, this configuration will be used from then on for the newly captured images.
Set categories for the existing scene(s)
Add categories to existing images in your project manually:
1. Open the project in the JobWalk app.
2. Select the sheet of the project.
3. Select a waypoint of an existing image.
Note: If you saved your project with "Layout only" or you used "Free up storage space" recently, you will require an internet connection to open and edit the 360 images.
4. Tap on the categories icon on the right side of the screen to open the list of categories.
5. Scroll down the list to look for the right categories and tick one or more checkbox(es) to apply one or more category/categories to this image.
6. Scroll back up and tap on the dark background above the categories overview to close the category list and apply your selection of categories to this 360° image.
7. Return to the sheet view and select another waypoint to categorize the corresponding 360° image. Repeat these steps to categorize more scenes.
