Minimum Device Requirements & Best Practices
There are also certain minimum requirements that your device must meet in order for the JobWalk App to work properly.
The iOS device needs to run iOS 14 or higher.
Mobile devices used for capturing images with the JobWalk app should have large internal storage (ideally >64GB) with at least 10GB of free storage and 4GB of RAM.
Note: The app will warn you if you are running out of memory. Please do not ignore the warning and free up some storage space. DO NOT delete any project-related data until the project was successfully synced to the cloud but delete other data from your device non-related to the JobWalk app!
We recommend one user per device. Each user must always have their own Sphere XG/HoloBuilder account in order to avoid conflicts with project versions.
Free up space locally on the device on a regular basis. We recommend to periodically free up the project area or deleting the project and re-downloading the “Project Layout” so that only the sheets and locations of images (so-called waypoints) are saved in the device. This will prevent the device’s storage from becoming full.
IMPORTANT: Only clean up your device or delete your project if it was already successfully synced to the cloud! Otherwise, you might lose any unsynced progress.
