Linking scenes is essential to create a virtual tour. It makes it easier to walk through the construction site as if you were there, even when using a VR headset.

You can link your uploaded 360° images via

  • drag and drop, or

  • by choosing the “Go to scene” action object from the object menu.

Add a link by drag and drop

To link scenes by drag and drop of a scene you have to keep the project panel on the left-handed side of the editor expanded:

  1. Go to the scene in which you intend to insert the link to another scene.

  2. Locate the scene you want to link in the project panel and click and drag it into the main editor window.

  3. A virtual link to that scene will be created and marked with the blue ‘Go to scene’ action object.

  4. Rearrange the location of the action object or scale it to better fit into the scene.

  5. The linked scene will open in the 'Preview' when you click on the action object.

Note: The linked scene will not open when clicking the action object in the editor view.

  2. Open the object menu on the right-handed side of the editor.

  3. Click on the blue circle with the white arrow in it or drag it into the main editor window.

  4. A window will appear in which you can choose the scene you want to link to.

  5. Choose the scene from the drop-down menu.

  6. Click on ‘Apply changes’ to save the chosen link configuration.

  7. After the window is closed again, you are able to position the action object to the right position and scale it.

  8. In the 'Preview', you will be able to get to the linked scene by clicking on the action object.

Note: The linked scene will not open when clicking the action object in the editor view.
