Make a Layer Black and White

Learn how to switch your layer view from colored to black & white and vice versa.

Depending on the source of your layer, different colors may be used to mark different properties of a layer. In the Sphere XG Viewer, you can activate and deactivate black-and-white mode of a colored layer, see figure below.

  1. Click the icon in the view toolbar on the lower left side to open the 2D view.

  2. Click the icon in the toolbar to open the Layers form.

  3. Make sure that the layer you want to manipulate is visible, i.e. the icon is displayed behind the layer.

  4. Click icon in the toolbar on the right side of the screen.

This feature has no effect on already black and white layers.
