What to do if an error occurs in the Blink Workflow

Error during Workflow

If an error occurs in a workflow step, Sphere XG will prompt you via error message and on the Blink workflow page. The process will also try to provide a solution.

In most cases, this will be an option to Retry the process step. Such an error may occur if the Internet connection was lost or if there is another issue in the cloud infrastructure.

For Processing and Registering, the following error solutions are available:

Processing: If the processing of one or more scans failed, you can either stop the workflow and go back to recheck the scans or you can Continue the workflow with the scans that could be processed.

Registering: If the workflow finishes with issues, you can inspect and edit the registration, see Inspect and Edit the Registration of Blink Scans. You are notified via an email and an error message.

Workflow Fails

If the workflow fails, this is usually caused by issues within the service. In this case, contact the FARO Support.
