If you click on the right side of the screen, the General View Settings form is opened.

You can define these settings in all views. However, the effect might not be visible in all views.

  • If you deactivate one of the switches in this form, the corresponding element will not be visible in the Sphere XG Viewer.

  • For waypoints you can define whether you want to display them on the floor with a predefined offset or at their actual position. In addition, you can color waypoints. Option By elevation colors the waypoints according to their elevation if the elevation difference is at least one meter. Option By capture date visualizes the different dates on which scans where captured.

  • Use the Object visibility slider to define at which distance objects, for examples annotations, become visible.

  • Use the 2D overview orientation to select if you want to adjust a new layer to existing sheet or to the project coordinates. This orientation is also applied when the added layer is displayed in the 2D view.

  • Use the Point cloud rendering slider slider to adjust the visual appearance, flyability and smoothness of point clouds. You can also display the point cloud with the original data without special effect.

Learn more about the features in this form in our Sphere XG User Manual.
