If you click on the right side of the screen, the General View Settings form is opened.

You can define these settings in all views. However, the effect might not be visible in all views.

  • If you deactivate one of the switches in this form, the corresponding element will not be visible in the Sphere XG Viewer.

  • For waypoints you can define whether you want to display them on the floor with a predefined offset or at their actual position. In addition, you can color waypoints. Option By elevation colors the waypoints according to their elevation if the elevation difference is at least one meter. Option By capture date visualizes the different dates on which scans where capturedif the capture days are at least one day apart. Option HoloBuilder color will show the waypoints in the colors used in the HoloBuilder WebEditor, see Change the color of your waypoints. The default color is grey.

  • Use the Object visibility slider to define at which distance objects, for examples annotations, become visible.

  • Use the 2D overview orientation to select if you want to adjust a new sheet to existing sheet or to the project coordinates.

  • Use the Point cloud rendering slider slider to adjust the visual appearance, flyability and smoothness of point clouds. You can also display the point cloud with the original data without special effect.

  • Use the 3D Model visibility to configure the minimum distance at which the active model will be visible in the current 3D scene (walk mode view only).
