Make Projects Private or Public

Learn how to set a project's access level on the Sphere XG Dashboard and share it with colleagues or stakeholders

Projects can be marked as private or as shareable via link.

  • Only users who are signed in and were invited to the project or have admin permissions in the workspace can see private projects.

  • Users who have the link can see projects which are shareable via link.

You can set the access level on the Overview tab of the Projects page.

  1. Click the task panel entry Projects.

  2. Click the project for which you want to change the access level.

  3. Open the dropdown Access Level and select either Private or Via link.

Share Project

Only Workspace Admins, Group Managers, Project Managers and Project Admins can share a project.

Projects can have different access levels, see above.

You can share projects from the Projects page or the Groups page.

From the Projects Page

  1. Click the task panel entry Projects.

  2. Click the tile of the project you want to share.

  3. Click icon in the upper right side of the screen.

If you are currently in the list view, hover the mouse pointer over the project you want to open and click the icon.

In the tile view, you can also hover the mouse pointer over a project tile and then click the icon to share the project.

From the Groups Page

  1. Click the task panel entry Groups.

  2. Go to the Projects tab.

  3. Hover the mouse pointer over the project you want to open and click the icon.

Share Link

After you have clicked icon , a form containing the link to the project is opened.

Copy the link and send it via email or another communication tool.
