Tags help you to classify objects in a project according to shared properties, for example a tag pipes for all pipes in a construction site. You can add tags to annotations and then use tags as filter criteria to show or hide sections of your project.

Note: Categories and tags from WebShare Legacy are migrated to Sphere XG tags.

Create Tags

You create tags at a project level.

  1. Click icon above the project structure view.
The Tag Management form is displayed.

  2. Enter the tag name you want.

  3. Click Add or press ENTER.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if required.

Added tags are listed below the input field New tag.

You can also add tags to annotations when you create or edit an annotation.

Tags are easy to find via filters, click on the icon in the toolbar to define a tag filter.
