We've updated how VideoMode captures are represented and organized within projects.
Instead of creating a standalone trajectory, VideoMode captures are now connected to 360° static waypoints whenever they exist. This creates a more consistent representation of your site and improves navigation across different capture types.
What does this mean?
Existing 360° photo locations are reused
When a VideoMode captures passes through an existing 360° waypoint, new images are added to that location.
This helps keep the project organized and reduces visual clutter on the sheet.
Use Time Travel to switch between different capture dates and images available at the same location.
New locations are created when needed
When VideoMode is used in areas where no 360° waypoint exists, new waypoints are automatically generated.
These waypoints can later be extended with either:
additional VideoMode captures
new 360° static captures
This creates a more flexible and future-proof workflow as your project grows.
Benefits
Better Time Travel experience
Annotations and measurements directly on waypoints.
Seamless mixing of VideoMode and 360° static captures.
Less cluttered sheets and improved project organization.
Easier continuation of capture progress over time.
