Learn how you can set a location marker at the same locatin in different areas.

Written by Stefanie Zerulla

You can copy a waypoint as a location markers to another area. Currently, this is possible for 2D photos, 360° photos and location markers.

For example, this is helpful if you want to take a photo in the same location in a building with several floors with the same layout. If you have a sheet (floor plan) for each floor and you have imported these sheets to create areas, you can simply place a location marker in one floor, take a photo and then copy the location marker to another area. Of course, you can also place a location marker and copy the location marker directly to another area without taking a photo. Either way, you make sure that the location marker and the photos you add to this location marker will be at the same position on all floors.

1. Click the three-dots icon of the waypoint you want to copy.
You can also right-click the waypoint in the 2D view.

2. Click the Copy as location marker entry, then select the area, to which you want to copy the location marker.

A copy of the waypoint will be created in the selected area.
