Required Remote URLs and Domains for Sphere XG

Endpoints and Ports to whitelist

For Sphere XG® to function properly, access to the following URLs/Domains is required. If you are having issues viewing projects on Sphere XG®, ensure the firewalls are allowing traffic to the below locations.

NOTE: Please whitelist according to where your workspace is stored, EU or COM servers.

Required Ports to Whitelist for COM + EU:


For the HoloViewer, Navisworks, and Revit plugins to function correctly, the following ports need to be open in your firewall:

  • Port 443 – Used for all communication (HTTPS traffic) with our servers’ REST endpoints.

  • Port 8083 – Used for local session exchange between the browser and the desktop application on Windows and Mac after a successful user login.

  • Port 5677 & Port 5688 – Used by the Navisworks & Revit plugin executables to communicate with Navisworks.exe and Revit.exe.
