Taking measurements with Point Cloud in Legacy Sphere Viewer

Take Measurements in a Point Cloud
Go to the Sphere Viewer. You can take measurements either in walk mode or in the 3D view.
Choose the Walk icon or the 3D icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
Note:Icons that you can click are dark gray, clicked icons are blue, icons that you cannot click are light gray.
Click Point Cloud at the top right corner of the screen. The Point Cloud view opens.
Click the Ruler icon on the right side of the screen.
Choose at least two points in the Point Cloud.
The measured distance will be displayed in the measurement unit that was selected during project creation. You can also change the unit, see below.
Note:
If you measure a diagonal distance, the measurements on all three main axes (XYZ) will also be displayed (if larger than 0).
Take Measurements Between Objects That Are Far Apart
If the objects that you want to measure are too far apart and are not visible in the current view:
Left click to select the first measurement point.
Press the Shift key and rotate your view until the next measurement is visible.
Click to select the next measurement point.
Change the Measurement Unit
Available measurement units are ft and m.
By default the measurement unit is taken from the initial project settings.
You can change the measurement unit while making measurements.
When you click on the labels that show the distance, a small toolbar is displayed.
Click the currently displayed unit to change it.
Abort a Measurement
To abort a measurement press the right mouse key.
Delete a Measurement
When you click the second measurement point, a small toolbar is displayed.
Click on the icon to delete the current measurement.
