To help you get rid of this message, the following paragraphs will provide you with some hints and links that should serve as a starting point for your troubleshooting procedure.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to provide a “one-fits-all” kind of solution. Just because there are very many individual software and hardware as well as different platform and browser combinations out there, which could all contribute to the circumstances that are causing the error message to appear.

But chances are high that you will manage it by yourself if you use the provided information for your investigations:

1. Start with a check if the browser you are using to work with HoloBuilder supports WebGL in general. Dark green means your browser’s capability at running WebGL is fine, a shape of green usually means that you should be good to go:http://caniuse.com/#feat=webgl

2. Check if the browser’s WebGL features work properly on your system at all:http://get.webgl.org/You should see an animation of a rotating cube, which looks like following:

3. If it is not displaying the cube/working properly, search for information on how to enable WebGL in your browser:
https://superuser.com/questions/836832/how-can-i-enable-webgl-in-my-browser

4. If you are using Google Chrome (the browser we strongly recommend for using HoloBuilder!) please check if hardware acceleration is enabled.

5. Check if your graphics card is one of the blacklists that exist for different configurations:
https://www.khronos.org/webgl/wiki/BlacklistsAndWhitelistsIf yes, it means you are out of luck with using WebGL. The only thing you could try is to bypass the blacklist –  check AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Please note that this can lead to unexpected behaviour, cause troubles and maybe even damages so that you do it only at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any consequences that happen due to the information you find and use in this context!

6. Search Google Groups WebGL forum with relevant keywords, e.g. “support“:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/webgl-dev-list

7. Search the official WebGL Wiki for further information:
