About Single Sign-On (SSO)

The SSO Enterprise Dashboard is a completely new and secluded environment which allows you to manage your user access with the HoloBuilder Enterprise Dashboard more securely allowing only users authenticated within your actual company network to log in, view and edit your company dashboard and projects.

SSO within HoloBuilder is only available in combination with an Enterprise Dashboard for an extra fee. Please contact us at support@holobuilder.com to get more information.

Sign up with SSO

The HoloBuilder Company Single Sign-On option is available for new Enterprise Dashboard users. Existing Enterprise Dashboards cannot be switched to SSO but need to be set up from scratch in the new isolated environment.

SSO for companies without existing HoloBuilder subscription

If you do not yet have an Enterprise Dashboard for your company, we will set up a completely new secured HoloBuilder dashboard environment for you including SSO for your company. Please contact us at support@holobuilder.com to have your new Enterprise Dashboard set up directly with SSO included. 

SSO for companies with an existing Enterprise Dashboard

Please note, that it is not possible to transfer existing accounts into a new SSO Enterprise Dashboard. If you already have one or more accounts in HoloBuilder, please make a special request to migrate these to the secure SSO environment. 

If you already have an Enterprise Dashboard with your company, we can migrate your current company and create a new Enterprise Dashboard environment for SSO login. Please contact us at support@holobuilder.com to ask for migration to the SSO compatible company dashboard.

Inviting new users with SSO

Users with an authenticated email address can be invited as usual to your HoloBuilder Enterprise Dashboard or individual projects to view or edit within your secured HoloBuilder working environment. Learn more about how to invite users to your HoloBuilder Enterprise Dashboard in general here.

Please note that only users authenticated within your internal company network can be invited to your HoloBuilder Enterprise Dashboard, e.g. anybody with an email address of your company domain. Please contact the department responsible for managing user access in your company to check your authentication.

External users

External users, e.g. without an email address of your company, first need to be authenticated by the department responsible for managing user access in your company before you can successfully invite them to your SSO HoloBuilder Enterprise Dashboard.

Please contact the department responsible for managing user access in your company to add authentication for external users before inviting them to your HoloBuilder SSO company.

Log in with SSO

Please note that only users that are already invited to an SSO Enterprise Dashboard or company project can log in with SSO. Please remember to invite these users beforehand.

To log in with your company single sign-on go to the HoloBuilder website:

  1. Click on the button “Company Provider (SSO)”.
  2. Enter the Company ID as the domain for your company.
  3. Click CONTINUE.
  4. In the pop-up, enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD.
  5. Click on Sign On to log into your account.
  6. You’ll return to HoloBuilder and can now start working.

Forgot your Company ID

If you forgot your Company ID, click on “Forgot company ID?” below the CONTINUE button. In the new text field, enter your email address and click CONTINUE. You will receive an email with your company information with a link to directly log in to your SSO company or to access a project.
